

Basic Safety Training STCW + STSDSD course
Course | Description |

Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) | Knowledge of safe working practices, pollution prevention, emergency procedures, and effective human relationships. |
Elementary First Aid (EFA) | Application of elementary first aid techniques and response to medical emergencies. |
Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF) | Understanding and minimizing fire risks, and personal safety requirements for firefighting equipment. |
Personal Survival Techniques (PST) | Knowledge of survival equipment, principles of survival, abandoning ship, and using survival craft. |
STSDSD Security Training Program | Knowledge on upholding security plans, classifying risks, conducting inspections, and handling security systems. |
For Practical’s: Boiler Suit and Safety Shoes are mandatory.
Entry Standards

1. 10th Standard Passed | (a) Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th standard with Science and Mathematics as subjects.
(b) Minimum 40% marks in English in 10th standard exams. |

Course Duration: 6 Months Frequency: 2 Batches per year – January and July

2. ITI Holders | (a) Pass in 2-Year ITI course from Govt. approved institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks in final year.
(b) Minimum 40% marks in English in 10th standard exams. |

3. Diploma or Degree Holders | (a) Diploma or Degree holders
(b) Pass with 40% aggregate marks in 10th standard with Science and Mathematics as subjects. (c) Minimum 40% marks in English in 10th standard exams. |
Note: BST (STCW) Exit Exam and Examination fee is not included in the fee structure.
