R. L. Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS) is proud to announce that Girl Cadet Palak Chauhan of the GP Rating (July – December 2025 Batch) has been honoured with the Academic Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement.

On the occasion of Day of the Seafarer 2026, she was felicitated by the Maritime Association of Ship-owners, Ship-managers and Agents (MASSA) for securing the highest marks among women candidates in the BEST Exit Examination conducted in December 2025 for GP Rating trainees.

On 14 June 2026, RL Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS), Madurai, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its Full Mission Engine Room Simulator (ME Engine Model) by Capt. Aditya Ramaswamy, General Manager, NjordShips Management India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.
