The Orientation Programme for the GP Rating July 2026 Batch was successfully conducted at the AV Room of R.L. Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS), Madurai, at 10:00 hrs on Friday, July 10, 2026.

The programme marked the formal induction of the newly admitted cadets into the GP Rating course and served as an important introduction to life at RLINS. During the session, cadets were familiarized with the institute’s training structure, academic guidelines, maritime discipline, and the standards of conduct expected of aspiring seafarers.

Faculty members and institute officials addressed the cadets, emphasizing the significance of professionalism, discipline, safety awareness, and dedication in maritime training.
