Ozellar Marine Delegation Visits RLINS Madurai for Industry Interaction with GME, ETO & GP Rating Cadets

A delegation from Ozellar Marine – Ship Management and Marine Engineering visited R.L. Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS), Madurai, on 26 August 2026 as part of an industry interaction programme focused on providing cadets with valuable exposure to the maritime and shipping industry.

During the visit, the delegates interacted with cadets from GME, ETO and GP Rating programmes and shared valuable insights into current trends, challenges and opportunities in the global shipping sector. R.L. Institute of Nautical Sciences conducted an Orientation and Safety Familiarization Programme for the GME and ETO August 2026 Batch on 8 August 2026. Admission letters were also issued to the newly admitted cadets, marking the formal commencement of their training journey at RLINS.

The programme was organized to familiarize the newly admitted cadets with the institute’s academic environment, training facilities, safety procedures, rules and regulations, and various aspects of their pre-sea training. The session also provided an opportunity for the cadets to understand the expectations and responsibilities associated with their professional maritime training.

The orientation marked the beginning of the cadets’ training journey at RLINS and helped them gain a better understanding of the structured training programme and the importance of discipline, safety, and professional conduct in the maritime industry.

Admission letters were also issued to the selected GME and ETO August 2026 Batch cadets as part of the admission process. The issuance of admission letters formally confirms their admission to the respective pre-sea training programmes at R.L. Institute of Nautical Sciences.

The Orientation Programme for the GP Rating July 2026 Batch was successfully conducted at the AV Room of R.L. Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS), Madurai, at 10:00 hrs on Friday, July 10, 2026.

The programme marked the formal induction of the newly admitted cadets into the GP Rating course and served as an important introduction to life at RLINS. During the session, cadets were familiarized with the institute’s training structure, academic guidelines, maritime discipline, and the standards of conduct expected of aspiring seafarers.
